Muslim Community Donates $87, 000 to Family of Orlando Shooter #book #donation

#donates

#

Alms Qualms

Claim: The Muslim community donated $87,000 to the family of the man responsible for the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.

Origin: On 24 June 2016, the web site Associated Media Coverage published an article reporting that several Islamic Cultural Centers throughout the United States had donated an aggregate $87,000 to the family of Omar Mateen, the man responsible for gunning down 49 people in a June 2016 mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida:

According to several recent reports, the Muslim community has made a donation in excess of $87,000 to the family of Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen.

It’s currently unknown how the funds will be distributed, however it’s been said that the majority of the $87,000 will be allocated to Omar Mateen’s widow Noor Salman and father Seddique Mateen. Sources indicate that the remaining funds will be distributed among Omar’s siblings. Prior to distributing the donation, the Mateen family is expected to provide Omar with a ‘proper Islamic funeral’.

According to reports, the $87,000 was comprised of donations made on behalf of several Islamic Cultural Centers throughout the United States.

There is no truth to this report, however. Associated Media Coverage uses the tagline “News You Can Trust” but is nothing more than another purveyor of clickbait fake news stories. The web site has previously published fabricated accounts about the FDA banning “E-Juice ,” a multi-state motorcycle curfew. and a two pet per-household rule.

Some fake news web sites carry a disclaimer labeling their content as fiction, but no such warning can be found on Associated Media Coverage ‘s site. However, readers could have deduced that they were reading a fake news report by following the links provided within it (none of which led to articles concerning the alleged donation), or by researching the “Islamic Cultural Center of Villa Heights” (which does not appear to exist).

Home Colleges In Riverside County, California

    Colleges In Riverside County

Riverside County has a history that stretches back to 1850. The county was not formed then, but that is the year that 27 counties were established for the state of California. That area was divided between San Diego County and LA County. It was not until March 11, 1893 when the actual formation of Riverside County took place from pieces of San Diego County and San Bernardino County. The county seat was Riverside and remains so today.

In 1980 the county had a tremendous feat. Its population grew to over one million. Riverside County is looked upon as a major real estate destination and that began 10 years before the population started to grow. Riverside County has a land area that is massive. Another reason why real estate is so popular here.

Riverside County’s location is in the southeastern part of California. The county stretches from Orange County through to the Colorado River. It also borders Arizona. Riverside was named for the county seat that it has. Its population growth can also be contributed to its part of the Southern California Inland Empire region. In 2008 the population had already staggered past the one million mark and was exceeding two million as well.

Those looking for nature will get an eyeful and more with a visit to Riverside County. The majority of the county’s terrain is desert with most of the Joshua Tree National Park located there. Needing activities indoors? Riverside County is home to Gold Base, which is the international headquarters of the Church of Scientology.

Families are also quite welcome at Riverside too. There is the KidZone Youth Museum, Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, March Field Air Museum and the Orocopia Mountains Wilderness. There is an activity for everyone at any age. Use the city campground for nights under the stars, visit the Mountain View Country Club for drinks and the Fisherman’s Camp to fish for the tastiest catch of the day.

Riverside County is not just for nature. The county is a learning ground too. Over 3,300 people are living in college dorms and those off campus too. Riverside offers several education institutions to choose from. Cathedral City is home to Mayfield College. It is a college that focuses on teaching the fields of technology, business and healthcare.

California Baptist University, California School of Law, College of the Desert and La Sierra University are all located in Riverside County. In addition, there is Mount San Jacinto College, Palo Verde and Riverside community colleges and the University of California-Riverside.

Riverside County is also home to two military institutions. One is the March Air Reserve Base. Its located between the cities of Riverside and Moreno Valley. The other is the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division.

People come to Riverside County for ease of mind. They have the beauty of the county at reasonable prices. Those living in Los Angeles have given up their residences there and come to Riverside for a permanent living arrangement. State Highway 91 also offers commuter lanes for the growing population in Riverside.

The county also knows how to do relaxation right. Coachella Valley is the site of many resorts located in Riverside County that are famous. They are Indian Wells, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and Palm Desert. There are several Indian reservations located in Riverside too. Torres-Martinez, Santa Rosa and Morongo are a few.

Riverside County is an asset to the growth and expansion of California. It has been there since day one. It just took a little while fro Riverside County to have its name actually on the map.

Original Italian Pizza – Italian – 411 S Main St, Elmira, NY – Restaurant

    #

Just came from Texas back to visit Elmira and was told about this place. Friendly service, didn t wait long for food. Had reasonable prices and great meal deals. The calzones and strumbolie was fantastic. And the wings so much better then any of the wing chains. This place was great!!

I work in a large office and occasionally with have 10+ orders for lunch the last few times we have ordered they have been amazing. They are so patient will I read the 10 – so specific some should make their own lunch – orders. They read everything back and give a total on the call. They are honest if the time you request delivery will work and the order is always 100% right. They delivery drivers are also so great! I appreciate the little things like them smiling and saying thank you for ordering, do you want to check everything is right before I leave etc. – There grilled chicken salad while nothing special is amazing. I love the grilled flavor of the chicken!

Started off good, then we had nothing but bad experiences from them. Food was soggy and undercooked pizza.

Ordered a sausage Parmesan sub and a sausage pepper and onion sub and two slices of pepperoni pizza. Nice home baked rolls but the sausage was cooked to death and void of any flavor other than that of filler. Sauce and the peppers and onions we re the only discernible taste. Two slices of pepperoni pizza we re good.

I eat here probably way more than I should. It s right near where I work so it s a convenient place to stop for a quick lunch. The prices are pretty decent too so I end up stopping in here probably twice a week. Their food is good for a decent price. Their sandwiches are big, and pretty tasty. I get their chicken cheese steak a lot and it s usually filling and delicious. Their pizza is also good but I m not a huge fan of their crust it s too chewy. Also I think they have some of the best wings I ve ever had there. The char-grilled wings are awesome. The staff is friendly and most of them know who I am and what I want when I come in there. They ll even throw together a couple of Hawaiian slices for me even though usually don t do have any made. It s nice to see them go out of their way to give a repeat customer what they re looking for. The place is usually pretty clean although it s not really a nice sit down place you d go for an extended dinner with the family. It s more of a quick sit down place where you eat your meal and then head out back to work or whatever you re up to. It s just how it s set up and is definitely not a mark against them. Overall, a nice quick place to get a decently priced meal that tastes good. The friendly staff makes me come back there frequently.
